Excellence and Quality Service
A Quinta Alto do Rio, Located on the south bank of the River Douro in the municipality of Cinfães, it covers an area of 6.5 hectares, with its upper limit at the Miradouro de Teixeirô, one of the most impressive viewpoints on the Route of the Romanesque.
Overlooking the River Douro at the mouth of the Bestança, this viewpoint allows you to contemplate various points of interest in the municipalities of Baião and Cinfães: the Pala reservoir, the result of the construction of the Carrapatelo dam; the Porto Manso and Boassas Villages of Portugal; the Ancede Monastery; the Douro railway line; the Mosteirô bridge, designed by the famous engineer Edgar Cardoso (1913-2000), and the Porto Antigo pier.
This is a family project started in 2013 by a family that has always been linked to the Douro and agricultural production.
The unit has 6 themed rooms with contemporary décor combined with elements typical of the region, and balconies with an enviable view of the river.
The outdoor infinity pool offers an exceptional view of the river, where the blue of the pool, the river and the sky come together to create a unique visual experience.
The farm has an area of 2 hectares of forest, 3 hectares of cherry trees and 1 hectare of orchard, all in MPB - organic production method.
On this farm there is enormous biodiversity with a variety of flowers and aromatic plants, as well as birds, making it a privileged area for bird watching.
The visual setting, at the confluence of the River Douro and Bestança, considered the least polluted river in Portugal, its walking routes and springs, create a unique atmosphere of serenity and peace.
